Sean Kelliher
senior Remedial Massage Therapist | Pregnancy & induction massage |
Neuro Kinetic Therapist
Sean is an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist with nearly 20 years in clinical practice. With a background as a professional dancer and educator, he brings a refined and intuitive understanding of movement and the complex relationships between interconnected body structures.
A graduate of the Australian Institute of Applied Sciences (2008) and a member of Massage & Myotherapy Australia, Sean is also a qualified Neuro Kinetic Therapist (NKT). His work integrates musculoskeletal therapy with a central nervous system approach—addressing not just where tension presents, but why the brain and nervous system are creating it.
He also has extensive experience in prenatal and post-partum massage, supporting clients through all stages of pregnancy. His treatments help relieve common pregnancy discomforts while fostering confidence and preparedness for birth. Sean values providing therapeutic, informed, and compassionate care during this transformative time.
This holistic perspective is particularly beneficial for clients who identify as neuro-sensitive or neurodivergent (including ASD, ADHD, autism, and sensory processing differences). By considering the central nervous system in pain and dysfunction, Sean supports meaningful, lasting resolution rather than temporary relief.
