Clare is dedicated to improving clients’ physical health and well-being. She specialises in soft tissue injuries, and neck and lower back pain, and has a strong background in the sporting industry.
Clare offers expert remedial massage and myotherapy, focusing on soft-tissue dysfunction and pain management. Throughout her career, Clare has worked with clients dealing with postural conditions resulting from busy lifestyles and active routines. She is skilled in providing massage services for pregnant clients at all stages of their pregnancy, including induction massage and pilates.
Clare has been a practicing therapist since 2003 and is committed to assisting clients with their overall physical health and well-being. Clare has spent time developing her understanding of soft tissue injuries, headaches, migraines and neck and low back pain. She has worked in the sporting industry, helping clients with regular remedial massage and myotherapy treatments to help manage soft-tissue dysfunction and injuries, and muscular aches and pain.
Along the massage and myotherapy journey Clare has worked with clients with postural conditions created from a busy working life, and active lifestyle. She has found working in the therapeutic industry very rewarding and believes that massage and myotherapy can be highly beneficial and effective for managing a range of issues, including muscular-skeletal and as part of overall mental health and wellbeing.
Clare believes that remedial massage and myotherapy is an effective technique to manage general muscular dysfunction and assist with enhancing health and longer-term well-being. She has thoroughly enjoyed learning along the way with continued education, undertaking further education in dry needling, cupping self-massage training techniques.
Clare provides a massage service for pregnant clients during all stages of their pregnancy, including pre-natal massage (preparing the body for pregnancy), and all stages of pregnancy, induction massage and post-natal massage. Clare believes massage is a very important part of all aspects of pre-natal, pregnancy and post-natal pregnancy stages.
Clare has spent time working with clients at Windy Hill Physiotherapy and Olympic Park Sports Medicine centre and gained experience and knowledge working with clients from all walks of life. Clare has undertaken Pilates training and enjoys including the theories and fundamentals from teaching into her treatments, especially for back care and overall body wellbeing.
Clare is an inner-north local and enjoys walking her dog and having shared experiences with her little family.
