Chenille Hosking

Remedial Massage | Myotherapist

Chenille has always been fascinated by the way the body moves. From an early age she was involved in a wide range of sports, including softball, track and field (sprints and hurdles), basketball, and hockey. More recently, she enjoys training in CrossFit and maintaining her own strength and conditioning practice.

Her passion for movement led her to study a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human

Movement), graduating in 2002. After many years working as a Physical Education teacher, Chenille chose to deepen her understanding of the body and transition into hands-on healthcare, studying Remedial Massage and Myotherapy.

Since graduating, Chenille has continued to refine her clinical skills, with a particular focus on cervicogenic conditions such as headaches and jaw pain, as well as the complex anatomy of the neck and shoulder region. She has also developed a strong interest in women’s health, particularly supporting women through the transition from perimenopause to menopause.

By blending her background in education with her clinical work, Chenille believes that empowering clients with knowledge and building strength are key to improving well-being and maintaining a high quality of life as we age.

Alongside her clinical work, Chenille enjoys working in the high-performance sport environment, where attention to detail and precision can make a significant difference. Her experience working with athletes from Hawthorn Football Club (men’s AFL team) and Melbourne Storm (men’s NRL team) has allowed her to further refine her hands-on treatment skills while supporting elite athletes to perform at their best.

Chenille’s approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and nurturing. Clients can expect to incorporate movement into their sessions while gaining a deeper understanding of what works best for their body. For Chenille, hands-on treatment is just the beginning, empowering clients with knowledge and practical strategies is key to long-term results.
